There are regular ferries departing from the port of Piraeus for the port of Symi and the route with stops to other islands takes about 12 to 14 hours. It also has a ferry connection with the following ports: Rhodes, Kalymnos, Kos, Leros, Lipsi, Nisyros, Patmos, Tilos.
From another island by air
There is no airport in Symi, so those who wish to travel by air must first travel to Rhodes, Kos, or even Athens and then arrive in Symi by boat.
