The MouseCastle

In the location of Myloi, there is "Pontikokastro", which is a prehistoric mound, as well as the remains of windmills, which once ground grain, but today some serve as homes.

Holy Metropolis of Symi-Tilos-Halki-Kastelorizo

The Holy Diocese of Symi was founded on April 20, 2004 by decision of the Holy and Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, satisfying a constant request of the inhabitants for an ecclesiastical upgrade. In addition to Symi, which is its seat, Tilos, Halki and Kastelorizo ​​belong to the Diocese.

Archaeological-Folklore Museum

Archaeological-Folklore Museum of Symi was founded in 1961 and is housed in a traditional mansion of the Gianneski family and is located in the Lieni district, in the village. It consists of "upstairs, downstairs, kitchen, cistern and courtyard" with neoclassical elements added in 1875. The exhibits cover the history of the island from prehistoric times to post-Byzantine times.

Alleys

In recent years, the alleys of Symi have been voted among the most beautiful alleys in the world on an international tourist site. These are narrow cobbled streets, with or without stairs, decorated with colors and stones in many shapes.
